Does WARpatch need to be up to date?

Does the Warhammer Patch have to be up-to-date to be able to play on private server? I just downloaded from website today and obviously have an old version, unfortunately I have no way to update the patcher because I don't have an account.

That's what some of the devs behind this server has posted as a solution - so it should be updated to allow you to log in.

Thanks for the quick reply, that link doesn't do anything tho, just a white background with a cloud and red M in the middle of it

Weird.

When I click it, I also get the cloud - but only for a second or two, then it updates to a page, where I can choose either to download Warhammer Online or import it to my Cloud Drive.

Ya after reading thought that doesn't help me much since the page won't load for whatever reason, I was also thinking since i don't have an account I could bum sum1 elses for a quick second just to patch the client, not sure how keen ppl are about giving out there credentials though, even though the game is officially dead

Hmm, just tried opening link in incognito window and it loaded, going to try it

edit: bah now it is saying transfers don't work with incognito...

edit2: tried it with firefox, 1% in...LETS GO BABY!!!

when i try the link on chrome, it tells me i have an outdated browser ?? and when i try it on firefox, it wont let me connect to the link because it says it has an invalid security.
