Any plans of releasing whatever content there is for the other cities? Karaz-a-Karak etc... obviously not a priority but just wondered if it was possible :P

What if game developers well... share some of the game data with you? They don't need it after all, but if they give it to you their work won't disappear into oblivion...

Pretty sure they wouldn't be up for that Nish... a shame really.. I'd love to see Karaz-a-Karak and the other cities in-game, as a social hub or anything...Altdorf stinks!

Well the server code is owned by EA Mythic. I doubt they would give it away as it would be available to anyone. Other developers could just use it as a codebase for new games.

Even if it they got access to it somehow your asking to get sued for any money made. If the server code is authored by the server owner the server is much more protected from EA/GW.

No one is keeping the devs from adding their own take on the lost cities, or is there? Just look at Project SWG. They added a whole new planet to their codebase.

1. Software, backend, frontend, etc is working as good as official server (or nearly as good with few minor bugs being taken care of here and there)
2. Server is working, players are playing
3. Dev crew can expand/test future subjects for expanding the crew (during 1/2, IMO ASAP)
4. Decision phase (what part of the game they can and want to improve).

No point discussing anything until the game is running.
Too soon to divide the spoils of a city that is still under our siege.

P.S. I don't see a problem with creating that and/or any content. But you'll need :
- some one who decides what needs to be done and writes down documents, descriptions, etc (usually a producer)
- 3D graphic + 2D graphic (for texturing if the former isn't taking care of it already)
- necessary tools to create, edit, import/export and test stuff (placement, scale, etc)
- document with what's needed, description, screenshots/concept art
- programmer + level designer who's gonna populate, script, lit it up, etc

That's a rough description of what is needed from dev point of view to make anything happen. Oh and usually these fellas do it for shinies.
