those are torrents for old version, no differences between that and downloading from official website cause we cannot update the client to 1.4.8

Why can't you update the client to 1.4.8 with those versions - or the version from the official website? (I was under the assumption that the official download had been taken down - and that's why you asked for other sources).

That patch never went live, so nobody has it, as far as I know - except if you got it from the test server. So shouldn't you just update to it upon logging in here?

Or what am I not getting?

The client you can get with torrents is the same as you can get by installing from original disc, i mean outdated. In order to update to the current version that everyone was playing till some hours ago, you need an account and password from WarOnline(which creation is disabled).

Unfortunately there are no seeders for these torrents. Does anyone else know where to get the game client?

Still haven the same problem: I need the correct game version.

I just could install the very old version from the CD-box. But even then I need a way to patch it.
Can't anybody provide us that version to download who already got it?
Or maybe the server-team can upload it anywhere?
