Starting over

So, as I posted in my introduction thread, I quit warhammer a few years ago (all my friends left, otherwise I'd have kept playing). At the time I was RR88 and was the third highest renown rank wl on the server (Volkmar).

For me, Starting over is a mixed bag. I did get a few of my friends interested in it though and the thought of leveling up with them again and trying to be the best IS enticing.... BUT, I also remember how long it took to get to 80+ renown.

So, what are your thoughts on starting over?

Three 100s - DoK, Chosen, BG - before the 100 elixir was introduced. Do I mind starting over? Hell no, will be happy to just play the game.

There are couple threads here had told about this. I prefer the old school mode, classical always the best. I don't mind how long form RR1 to RR80, but I do enjoyed the game, enjoyed the process from lvl1 to lvl40. Playing WAR is my fava way to relax. And of cause I had many Chinese friends, they all waiting this server go live! I need to translated all the news to them everyday; and the client, I need to upload the client to my private cloud, it's open directly to them. Most of them was played WAR since beta. I had no doubt they will play other if WAR going Live!

We all remember how much time and effort we put into our toons. Yes, it stinks having to do it all over again, but I think anyone who finds themselves registered for these forums and have created characters, are willing to do it all over again because we enjoy the game

Considering when I got my characters to max renown I pretty much got bored of them. I cant wait for everyone to have to start again. Hopefully for a few months at least we wont have max renown fotm premades running around that never leave warcamp unless they have a max renown group.

This is great for the game as the end game had got boring repetitive and hostile to low rr new characters. Of course there will be some trying to race to max renown to gain advantages. For the rest that dont need them we should have some good old lower tier fun.

I don't mind starting over. My Chosen was rr79 and I look forward to playing one again from the beginning.

We all lost our characters in the Great Disaster. But what gone is gone and its time to start a new charter of smashing orcish sculls.
